Article Icon 1Airport Braces for Record Day

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport expects to handle up to 115,000 security screenings today, which would top the single-day record set in May 2024.

For all of April, the world’s busiest airport predicts more than 8.3 million passengers will pass through, driven by spring break travel and Masters week.

Officials advise arriving at least 2.5 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international departures. You can check live TSA wait times here.

The crush comes amid some lingering uncertainty over TSA staffing, though wait times have eased after President Trump signed an order to pay security workers last week.

The Atlanta Hawks remain on a roll, pounding the Orlando Magic in an away game on Wednesday after extending their home winning streak to 13 games on Monday.

The Hawks have become one of the hottest teams in the East, and they're close to clinching a playoff spot as the regular season winds down.

In Monday night's home game against the Boston Celtics, Jalen Johnson and Onyeka Okongwu each scored 20 points for Atlanta, which is 17-2 since trading Trae Young to Washington in January.

The Wings Over North Georgia Air Show opens today at Richard B. Russell Regional Airport in Rome, with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds set to perform for the first time in Rome.

Tonight’s twilight show will feature precision F-16 formations by the Thunderbirds squadron, followed by civilian aerobatics, a drone show, and fireworks.

Saturday’s full daytime program caps off with the Thunderbirds as the closing act.

The Thunderbirds' visit to Rome was made possible by a recent runway extension.

It’s essential to ensure your financial strategy can support the future you imagine. A major challenge many investors face is underestimating how long their retirement will actually last. At the same time, inflation can reduce the value of your money over time, making it harder to cover expenses like healthcare, which often rises faster than other costs

The 15-Minute Retirement Plan from Fisher Investments walks you through these key considerations.
