Morning all. I just had a great talk with Jen Rubin over at the Contrarian about our current moment. In getting ready for our talk Jen and I discussed how we were both struggling to capture what we are witnessing now so we spent some time wordsmithing and kicking things around. Here is some of what we came up with….
I’ve been saying for months that things were going to get worse for Trump and the Rs as we got closer to the election but man I did not expect it to get as bad as it has…… I will be sharing our discussion via email later this afternoon. So the US has not only suffered an extraordinary and humiliating defeat in the Middle East - one Trump keeps lying about everyday - but oil prices have soared globally and gas/diesel prices in the US have soared too. Diesel may soon hit $7 a gallon in some states, just in time for the fall harvest.
