Why This Moment Matters

Legacy media is shrinking—fast.

Layoffs, declining trust, collapsing readership, and a business model built on outrage, bias, and celebrity commentary masquerading as journalism.

Meanwhile, The Flyover is growing—because our product is fundamentally different.

  • Americans are fed up with slant, spin, and political agendas.
  • They're tired of "news" that's really opinion dressed up as fact.
  • They're rejecting legacy media's clickbait culture—and choosing an alternative that tells the truth plainly.

We're gaining market share precisely because legacy outlets are losing it.

They doubled down on their failed playbook—and their followers are walking away.

The Flyover is hiring, expanding state editions, growing our national audience, and proving that fact-first, common-sense journalism isn't just needed—it's winning.

Your investment helps build a movement, accelerate our momentum, and gives you ownership in the news source millions are turning to as they turn away from traditional media.

If you've been thinking about becoming a reader-owner, this final Cyber Monday window is the time.

On Sunday, members of the Trump administration met with Ukrainian negotiators in Hallandale Beach, north of Miami, in an attempt to broker an end to the war in Ukraine and set the stage for key talks planned this week in Moscow with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio, special envoy Steve Witkoff, and Jared Kushner, the president's son-in-law, participated in the discussions to further hash out the details of a proposed peace framework.

The original 28-point proposal demanded major Ukrainian concessions but was heavily revised following criticism from Kyiv and European leaders.

The negotiations come at a sensitive moment for Ukraine as it continues to push back against Russian forces that invaded in 2022 while dealing with a domestic corruption scandal.

Tommy Zeigler, the longest-serving inmate on Florida's death row, is scheduled to appear in court this morning as his attorneys argue that new DNA results could prove his innocence.

A jury convicted Zeigler of killing his wife, Eunice, his in-laws, Perry and Virginia Edwards, and another man at his family's furniture store in Winter Garden on Christmas Eve in 1975. Defense Attorney Terry Hadley has represented Zeigler since the night of the killings.

Zeigler, now 80 years old, has maintained that he walked in on a robbery and was attacked.

At the hearing, the court will review the latest DNA testing from clothing worn by all four victims and by Zeigler. A veteran Miami Beach homicide detective sergeant and a forensic expert will testify that the DNA evidence makes it clear that Zeigler did not kill his wife or her parents.

Article Icon 1Hurricane Season Officially Ends

The 2025 Atlantic hurricane season officially ended on Sunday, marking the first season in a decade without a hurricane making landfall in the U.S.

There were 13 named storms in 2025, five of which developed into hurricanes. The only named system to make landfall in the U.S. was Tropical Storm Chantal in early July. The storm brought excessive rainfall and flooding to North Carolina.

The most notable storm was Hurricane Melissa, the third Category 5 hurricane of the year. Hurricane Melissa became one of the strongest Atlantic Basin hurricanes on record when it struck Jamaica on Oct. 28, bringing catastrophic winds, flooding, and a storm surge.

The 2026 Atlantic Hurricane Season begins June 1. Here's a list of names for next year's storms.
