Why This Moment Matters

Legacy media is shrinking—fast.

Layoffs, declining trust, collapsing readership, and a business model built on outrage, bias, and celebrity commentary masquerading as journalism.

Meanwhile, The Flyover is growing—because our product is fundamentally different.

  • Americans are fed up with slant, spin, and political agendas.
  • They're tired of "news" that's really opinion dressed up as fact.
  • They're rejecting legacy media's clickbait culture—and choosing an alternative that tells the truth plainly.

We're gaining market share precisely because legacy outlets are losing it.

They doubled down on their failed playbook—and their followers are walking away.

The Flyover is hiring, expanding state editions, growing our national audience, and proving that fact-first, common-sense journalism isn't just needed—it's winning.

Your investment helps build a movement, accelerate our momentum, and gives you ownership in the news source millions are turning to as they turn away from traditional media.

If you've been thinking about becoming a reader-owner, this final Cyber Monday window is the time.

Article Icon 1Tight Tennessee Race Puts GOP on Edge

President Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson are joining forces in a tele-rally today to boost Republican Matt Van Epps in the unexpectedly close special election for the 7th Congressional District.

Despite Trump winning the district by 22 points last year, a new Emerson poll shows Van Epps leading Democrat Aftyn Behn by just 2 points, within the margin of error.

The race has national implications—a Republican loss could shrink the party's House majority to a zero-vote margin.

GOP leaders are pouring over $1.5 million into the district, hoping to stave off an upset that would signal serious trouble heading into 2026.

Article Icon 1Johnny Cash Estate Sues Coca-Cola

The estate of Johnny Cash is suing Coca-Cola, alleging the company used a voice impersonator to mimic the late singer in a football season ad without permission.

Filed in federal court in Nashville, the suit claims the "Go the Distance" commercial misleads viewers into believing Cash endorsed it. See the ad here.

If true, the commercial violates Tennessee's recently passed ELVIS Act, which protects an artist's voice from unauthorized use.

The estate is demanding damages, ad profits, and a halt to further use. A jury trial has been requested.

Article Icon 1Vanderbilt Upsets Vols in Rivalry Stunner

No. 14 Vanderbilt defeated No. 19 Tennessee 45–24 in Knoxville on Saturday, snapping a six-game losing streak in the rivalry and keeping its College Football Playoff hopes alive.

The Commodores pulled away in the second half, outscoring the Vols behind dual-threat QB Diego Pavia, who notched multiple touchdowns through the air and on the ground.

Tennessee, now 8–4, finishes the regular season with an anticlimactic performance after last week's landmark win at Florida.

The Vols await a bowl invite, while Vandy eyes a potential playoff berth—once unthinkable in Nashville.
