Wisdom Worth Sharing: The older I get, the more I long for a simple life. Wake up early. Do hard things. Eat real foods. Obsess over something. Spend time with real ones. Read books. Avoid drama. Never gossip. Be grateful. That's my definition of a good life. (share to x/twitter!) Monday: The Antelope Principle: How to Chase the Right Things A lion can easily catch a field mouse—but the energy it burns in the process exceeds the calories it gains. A lion that spends its days chasing mice will eventually starve. To thrive, it must hunt antelope. Every single day, you face the same choice: - Chase field mice: the small, urgent problems and opportunities that pull at your attention; or

I call it The Donkey Principle. And its lesson is an important one. Stop trying to reason with people who have no interest in understanding. Stop chasing rational outcomes with irrational opponents. Peace has a price, and you buy it by saying no—to drama, to noise, to pointless arguments. Remember: If you argue with a fool, you become one.
