Last night, I joined Joe Trippi, an old Alabama hand better known for his role in national races, along with Lincoln’s Stuart Stevens for a wide-ranging chat about the political moment we are in. If you missed it, you can see the video by clicking up above. Among the most important questions people asked afterward: yes, that is my knitting, that I forgot to remove from the credenza, in the background, and no, Elsa, our new puppy, did not make an appearance, nor did any chickens. If I can figure out how to hook up the backyard extender for our internet, that may happen in the future! This is a difficult week. I appreciated the opportunity to zoom out and think about the bigger picture: what all of this means for us long term. Our job right now is to ensure that as many people as possible are paying attention and that they understand the transformation of government Trump is attempting.
