Do a Majority of Americans Really Support Trump's Mass Deportation Plan?

The polling on Trump's deportation doesn't tell the full story

On Sunday morning, a CBS News/YouGov poll sent shockwaves through the body politic. In addition to having positive numbers for how Trump is handling the transition and several of his appointments, the poll found that 57% of voters approved of Trump deporting all immigrants in the U.S. illegally.

More than one in four Democrats, 56% of Independents, and 48% of Hispanic voters would support such a program.

How a poll question is asked matters a lot and this singular poll question does not tell the full story.

A majority of Americans do not support Trump’s mass deportation plans. Let me explain:
