Post questions and freebies in subreddits.

Reddit is notorious for being cut-throat. Redditers are allergic to marketing and anything that feels like a gimmick.

However, if you're straightforward and genuinely helpful, Reddit is a great place to reach the right people for your startup.

Examples 🔍

Tim Soulo from Ahrefs took to an SEO subreddit to ask the community for feedback. He didn't pitch anything, post a link, or create a fake account to plug Ahrefs. He simply asked for feedback.

Worksheets, templates, cheatsheets, and other concise downloadables can work well on Reddit if it's seen as a genuine resource given to the community.
