Find your competitors' and partners' affiliates using backlink data.

If you know the unique URL structure of an affiliate link for a competitor, you can use tools like Ahrefs to reverse-engineer who is promoting your competitors.

Examples 🔍

Affiliate links for Acuity Scheduling always have "?kw=" in the URL, which allows you to filter backlinks to find all affiliate links.

Different affiliate software platforms have different ways of structuring URLs, but if you can identify the standard way they handle links, it makes it incredibly easy to find affiliates.

This doesn't just apply to competitors either — it also works well for complementary products in your industry.
