These can serve two purposes:

  1. Siphon traffic from competitors in Google
  2. Link internally to help website visitors make a decision on your product/service

Many perceive competitor comparison pages to be too aggressive, pushy, or critical. I've also heard hesitations around making website visitors aware of competitors and sending business away.

But the fact is that buyers are more educated than ever before. People love to comparison shop. Whether it's software, sneakers, or solar, comparisons help people make decisions.

If they're looking for a comparison, wouldn't you want to be able to provide that?
