John Tester was always a fun figure in the Senate, a plain-spoken farmer from Montana, who calls them like he sees them. So I was eager to join him and his podcast co-host Maritsa Georgiou to discuss my book and the news of the day. We had fun. It’s hard to believe I just wrote that sentence, because it’s been such a serious, somber week. But we agreed Trump can’t be permitted to take the fun out of our lives, even as we’re forced to fight for democracy.
