🧠 Brainy Breakdown
Humans stick with what they already know because it's comfortable. It's familiar. It's fine. So Oatly didn't lecture about the health benefits of oat milk or encourage people to try something "better." Instead, they created ads that focused on why the default option in the industry (cow's milk) is kinda weird when you think about it.
This direct jab at the old way made sticking with regular milk feel like the stranger choice—and made their solution feel like the obvious one. It worked. Oatly went from a niche brand to a company worth $350 million+.

Ready to get a quick win first thing Monday morning? Pinpoint one major way your target buyer's current solution is outdated, frustrating, or just plain weird. Then show why your alternative is clearly superior in your next social post. Until next time, happy Fri-yay!
P.S. Most entrepreneurs stick with the "niche down" advice because... well, everyone says it. It's familiar. It's what you're supposed to do. Hell, I did it, too—before I knew better. But just because targeting a market the size of a group chat is the standard doesn't mean it's the best option. Because at the end of the day, people don't buy because of who they are. They buy things because they have painful problems they're trying to solve. That's why I call out why the default, outdated option of niching down isn't the answer on this sales page.
