We made it to our planned topic—the legality of Trump’s actions in Venezuela and his stated intention to buy Greenland. But we also discussed the heartbreak all decent people share tonight over the unnecessary death of Renee Nicole Goode at the hands of ICE agents today in Minneapolis. It was a good night for all of us to be together. Steve and I discussed how important it is to continue supporting our democratic institutions; we can’t give up. Giving up would mean clearing the path for this administration to continue decimating our freedoms. We can’t allow that to happen.
