I interviewed Ben Affleck in 2012 over lunch at the restaurant at the hotel Casa del Mar in Santa Monica. I enjoyed it very much despite spending much of our lunch trying to decide whether to tell him he had a giant booger in his nose, and if I were to tell him, how exactly to tell him, and if it were too late at that point to tell him since I’d have to explain why I hadn’t told him right away.
