Monday: A Japanese Legend With A Lesson For Life There's an old fable about a villager trying to catch a monkey. He doesn't use a net. Instead, he hooks a coconut to the side of his house, drills a small hole, and places food inside. The monkey slips its hand in, grabs the food, and can't pull its clenched fist back out. The monkey wasn't trapped by the coconut. It was trapped by what it refused to release. It's easy to see the mistake from the outside. Much harder to recognize when you're the one with your hand in the coconut. Ask yourself: Where are you being held back by the things you refuse to let go?
