Happy Thanksgiving All - So Grateful For This Remarkable Community That We've Built, Together

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I’m grateful today for this remarkable community of doers, optimists, proud, plucky patriots who’ve decided to leave it all out there on the playing field for our families, our democracy, and our future.

Your financial support makes all this possible, but more important is the example you set every day in your reports on the actions you’ve taken on behalf of your country. That passion, that fight, the unwillingness to let them win is really the daily fuel that makes this community special, and powerful. It’s isn’t the money. It is all of you, your love of country, and your willingness to fight, to lead, to inspire, and to turn our opportunities into wins - deep and meaningful wins.

We’ve done a lot of good together here at Hopium my friends, but as we all understand, our most important work lies ahead. So rest up this holiday weekend. Take long walks. Stay away from your computer, iPad or phone. Call or visit an old friend…..whatever sustains you. Whatever replenishes you. Whatever you need to stay strong and resolute in these challenging times. For he is weaker now, much, much weaker, and we must stay on offense, keep racking up wins, keep weakening him and his terrible regime. We have to keep fighting.

I am going into a lower gear this weekend and only plan on posting if something important comes along. Two of my kids are home (what a blessing) and I have stuffing duty today, and will be using our new smoker to cook our turkey (wish us luck!). If you need a lively political discussion to fill up a walk or accompany you while cooking we have many available for you under the Podcast tab on the main Hopium site and on YouTube, Apple Podcasts and Spotify too. If you are looking to make a difference this weekend strongly encourage you to support one of our two wonderful December candidates, Aftyn Behn and Eileen Higgins, who will be spending this holiday weekend out there on the trail fighting for all of us.

So, friends, thank you. We’ve built something important and meaningful here together, and I am grateful every day for the opportunity to be in this fight with all of you.
