Hey entrepreneur,
When my first child was born, I didn't know what I was doing.
I had never even held a baby, much less changed a diaper, and I had no intentions of soiling my clean hands any time soon.
That's when I came up with a brilliant idea to get out of the "dirty work."
I looked at my beautiful wife…the mother of my baby boy…and said:
"Honey, I don't change diapers. You see, I'm a VISIONARY dad."
SLAP!!!
…
Now, before you fire off an angry reply, there's something you should know…
Literally none of this is true.
Not a word.
In fact, in the decade-long stretch when our 4 kids were in diapers, I (lovingly and joyfully) changed more poop-filled gift baskets than I care to count.
I made up this story to prove a point.
Despite what some business books would have you believe, as a CEO, you don't get to declare yourself a "Visionary" and then opt-out of the dirty work of running a business.
That's not how it works.
But what if the "dirty work" could be the most rewarding of all?
What if it could even be…fun?
Scaling a business will always come with diapers to change, but the right operating system makes it a lot less messy…and even kind of fun.
If you're ready for your business to grow out of diapers and finally start walking (and running) on its own, watch this:
