Roadblocks, bumps, thorns. They are the norm. But here's a question worth asking yourself: Are you blocked by the obstacle—or your focus on it? From a young age, you're indoctrinated into a belief that achieving success in a domain will result in freedom, fulfillment, and happiness. This general idea is the basis for the most useful productivity framework you've probably never heard of: It's called Skinner's Law. To get yourself to do something, you need to either: - Make the pain of not doing it greater than the pain of doing it, or
- Make the pleasure of doing it greater than the pleasure of not doing it
