Drought concerns continue to grow in Florida as dry conditions worsen across the state. Florida is experiencing its worst start to February in 25 years, with the last comparable drought taking place in 2001.

On Tuesday, Gov. Ron DeSantis announced on X that he signed an executive order unlocking emergency support for the state's agricultural sector "in response to last week's winter weather event and ongoing drought conditions throughout the state."

About 95% of the state is under at least a moderate drought, with the remaining 5% considered "abnormally dry." Drought conditions are expected to persist through at least April, per the U.S. Drought Monitor.

Central and North Florida are experiencing the most severe conditions, but several South Florida counties are under a water shortage warning. In Hillsborough and surrounding counties, residents have been told to conserve water.

With outdoor watering accounting for up to half of residential water use, counties across the state have issued water-use restrictions. Burn bans have also been issued, as the threat of wildfires grows.

Article Icon 1Trial Over Ballot Process Underway

A federal court trial began Monday in Tallahassee over a lawsuit challenging Florida's tightened restrictions on citizen-led ballot initiatives, with plaintiffs arguing the 2025 legislation places unconstitutional burdens on grassroots democracy efforts.

Florida Decides Healthcare sued Secretary of State Cord Byrd after lawmakers approved new rules governing how campaigns collect voter-signed petitions, requiring petition circulators to be volunteers, citizens, and Florida residents, and shortening deadlines for ballot initiative campaigns.

Plaintiffs argue that the new restrictions make it impossible to qualify for the ballot, as state officials announced last week that all 22 active citizen-led ballot initiatives failed to qualify for the 2026 general election ballot.

State leaders say the changes are critical to protect the process, as Gov. Ron DeSantis called for the revisions after state officials investigated fraud allegations involving a failed 2024 abortion-related ballot proposal.

U.S. District Judge Mark Walker, who will decide the case, previously blocked part of the law in a ruling that was later overturned on appeal.

Following a multi-agency investigation, a Rhode Island man was arrested for developing an online relationship with a Green Cove Springs girl and luring her into posting illicit sexual images.

On Monday, Attorney General James Uthmeier announced the arrest of Justin Adkins, 29, whom he called a "sicko."

Uthmeier said Adkins initially engaged with the girl on the gaming app Fortnite, and that the relationship later moved to Snapchat and then to the gaming app Roblox.

Adkins sent the girl gifts, including an iPhone and Roblox digital currency. If convicted on all counts, Adkins faces up to 85 years in the Florida Department of Corrections.

One Day Left: Invest in America's Trillion-Dollar Energy Comeback at $7.38/Share

Under a White House that favors energy production on our home soil, Frontieras North America could unlock up to $2.1 trillion in energy potential. They can convert coal into high-value products like hydrogen and diesel without burning it.

But that's not even the best part. They're doing it in what was once the heart of American industry: Appalachia. Their new land purchase in Mason County, West Virginia, has earned praise from West Virginia Gov. Morrisey for its potential to transform the region into an energy powerhouse.

Here's why you shouldn't miss this last chance to invest at $7.38/share:

  • "FASF" ticker reserved on the NASDAQ

  • $850M flagship facility now being built

  • $10 million raised from investors so far

The Next $435B Energy Empire Is Being Minted

In today's dollars, John D. Rockefeller would be worth $435 billion. But "oil money" is old news, and what's next might surprise investors in 2026: a $2.1 trillion opportunity in "clean" coal.

Now is the "Rockefeller" moment for Frontieras as they reform coal into hydrogen, diesel, and other valuable commodities (just like Rockefeller did with oil). With a White House that favors domestic energy, the NASDAQ ticker FASF reserved, and land officially purchased for their flagship coal reformation plant, Frontieras is positioned for potential valuation impact.

You have until 11:59 p.m. PT tomorrow to invest in Frontieras at $7.38/share,*

This is a paid advertisement for Frontieras's Regulation A offering. Please read the offering circular at https://invest.frontieras.com/
