Less Than Four Days Left to Invest in The Flyover

In four days, our investment window will be closed.

Not next month.
Not "sometime soon."
Four days.

So instead of telling you why we think you should invest in The Flyover, we'll do something different.

Here are the Top 4 Reasons to Invest—starting with one we didn't write ourselves.

1. ChatGPT Picked This Reason (Seriously)

When we asked ChatGPT (AI) why someone should invest in The Flyover, here is what it said.

It didn't talk about hype or buzz. It pointed to something rare:

A fast-growing, profitable, reader-first media company—built outside legacy media, without billionaire-corporate backing, and owned by its audience.

That's not marketing fluff. That's an objective read of our business.

2. A New Media Startup—But Actually Different

Most "new media" companies:

  • Lose money
  • Chase clicks
  • Depend on venture capital
  • Answer to advertisers first

The Flyover is profitable, growing, and reader-owned. We focus on trust, clarity, and consistency, not outrage or algorithms.

This combination is rare. And it's working.

3. Join a Movement to Fix What's Broken

Americans don't trust the news and for good reason.

Legacy media has:

  • Chosen narratives over facts
  • Divided audiences for attention
  • Optimized for outrage instead of understanding

The Flyover exists to change that. We deliver fact-first, unbiased news to millions of readers who want information, not indoctrination.

This isn't just an investment. It's a vote for a better media model.

4. There's Only Room for Less Than 400 Final Investors

This part is simple math.

We're about 88% full. That leaves fewer than 400 spots before the round closes. Permanently.

When it's full, it's full. No extensions. No waitlist guarantees.

If you've been thinking, watching, or meaning to "circle back"—now is the moment.

✈️ Final Boarding Call

Four days left.
Fewer than 400 spots.
A profitable, growing media company changing how Americans consume news.

Invest in The Flyover before the window closes.

The Roundup

Article Icon 1Another Winter Storm Possible This Weekend

As ice left behind by Winter Storm Fern continues to refreeze, hazardous conditions persist across North Carolina. Forecasters are now watching the potential for another winter storm to develop across the state this weekend.

The chance of precipitation depends on how far inland the moisture reaches and the track of an area of low pressure. Most models show a chance of measurable snow or a wintry mix across central North Carolina beginning Saturday, though exact timing, totals, and impacts remain uncertain.

Thousands of North Carolinians remain without power due to the most recent storm.

In addition to restoring many of those outages, Duke Energy is warning customers to ignore and delete circulating scam text messages falsely claiming scheduled power outages and instead contact the company directly or check official communication channels for accurate information.

A preliminary study by the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality has detected per‑ and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in wastewater, biosolids, and soil samples collected from 37 wastewater treatment plants and 19 regulated fields statewide.

Though the study was limited in scope and further research is needed, the results mark the first state assessment of PFAS—also known as "forever chemicals"—in biosolids, the nutrient-rich organic material that remains after wastewater has been treated.

Biosolids are often used as fertilizer, so PFAS in them can run off fields into streams, contaminating drinking water and potentially being absorbed by crops.

There are currently no federal or North Carolina regulatory requirements for monitoring PFAS in biosolids, but an estimated 3.5 million North Carolinians drink water with PFAS levels above future federal standards set to be enforced in 2029.

Article Icon 1Durham Principal Resigns Over Abuse Case

The principal of Eno Valley Elementary School, Tounya Wright, announced her resignation, effective Jan. 31. She was indicted last week on felony obstruction of justice and perjury charges tied to how Durham Public Schools officials handled a 2024 child abuse investigation.

Wright, Tanya Janique Giovanni, a deputy superintendent, and Ayesha Hunter, a senior executive director of employee relations, were charged after a grand jury found they misled investigators about when and how they became aware of the incident.

The indictments stem from an investigation into a November 2024 incident in which an autistic 6‑year‑old girl was allegedly tied to a chair with a rope—an act reportedly documented in a photo anonymously slipped under Wright's office door.

Two instructional assistants involved in the classroom were placed on leave and later resigned.
