Article Icon 1Heroes Emerge on Park Avenue

Two employees sprang into action to protect others during a gunman's attempted attack on NFL headquarters at 345 Park Ave. in New York last week.

Lobby greeter Andre Morris, 39, ushered a group of workers into a closet and held the door shut until help arrived.

Just moments earlier, an NFL employee who was shot in the back used his phone not to call 911, but to warn colleagues upstairs, giving them precious time to take cover.

The high-rise, home to major firms like the NFL and Blackstone, was thrown into chaos, but thanks to their quick thinking, more lives were spared.

Article Icon 1Mercy Ships Brings Healing to Africa’s Coast

If you like reality shows with real heart, The Mercy Ships premiered in June on the Angel Studios streaming service—and it’s worth a watch. Here's a trailer.

The docuseries follows the U.S.-led nonprofit Mercy Ships as it delivers free surgeries aboard floating hospitals along Africa’s coast.

Produced by Telly Award–winner Tracy Trost, the show captures both the life-changing care and the everyday American volunteers who make it happen.

One episode tells the story of Armane, a young boy from Madagascar whose cleft lip led his village to believe he was cursed—until a one-hour surgery aboard the ship helped restore his smile and his place in the community.

In this week's Feel Good Flyover Podcast, host Amy Hess interviews filmmaker Tracy Trost and discusses the experiences of the staff aboard. Make sure to catch it on Spotify, YouTube, or Apple Podcasts

Article Icon 1 Kitten Hops NYC Train, Finds Forever Home

A stray kitten who wandered onto a New York City subway last week has found a new home and internet fame after being rescued by a fellow commuter.

The tiny tabby, now named Emmie, boarded a downtown train and charmed passengers before Harlem resident Betsaida Mercado scooped her up and took her home. Watch the video here.

After a quick vet visit confirmed that Emmie wasn't microchipped, Betsaida adopted her and introduced the kitty to her 13-year-old dog, King.

Now settled into indoor life, Emmie is thriving, and yes, Betsaida still made it to work on time.

The Flyover is an investment you can Feel Good about!

There are a million places to invest your money these days, so why choose us?

First, you get the chance to own part of a news media company that doesn't spread doom and gloom for cheap clicks. There are plenty of organizations doing that, but we set out to be different. We even started the special edition you're reading right now—The Feel Good Flyover—because we felt like the evening news had the bad news brigade pretty much covered.

Second, you get to invest in a company on a rocketship growth ride with a lot more room to rise. We started with 47 readers in 2023, and now we have 2.5+ million. There are 70+ million Americans out there we believe would love The Flyover if they knew about it, and we plan to use our capital raise to gas up our marketing efforts.

Third, we're not a moonshot. Most startups raise capital on hope alone (we sure hope we'll make some money someday!), but The Flyover has already reached $500,000 in monthly revenue, with net income at 24%. We have a proven track record of success and a flight path to greater heights.

There's room for you on board this flight! You don't need to be an accredited investor, and at $2 per share, the minimum purchase is $750.
