The Derby Fire in Eagle County tripled in size overnight on Tuesday, prompting mandatory evacuations Wednesday north of Dotsero and along Colorado River Road.

The fire, sparked by lightning near Red Dirt Creek on Sunday, grew to 839 acres and remained 0% contained as of Wednesday afternoon.

Officials warn that incoming weather could worsen conditions, with gusty, erratic winds expected. An evacuation center has opened at the Two Rivers Community Center in Dotsero.

A park ranger was stabbed Tuesday morning at Staunton State Park in what officials are calling a targeted attack.

The unarmed seasonal ranger managed to call for help and was airlifted to a hospital, where he underwent surgery and is in stable condition.

The suspect fled into the woods and remains at large, despite an extensive search involving drones and multiple law enforcement agencies.

He is described as a white man in his early 30s, about 6 feet tall, and 200 pounds. Authorities stated on social media that there is no ongoing threat to the public.

Article Icon 1Rare Black Moon Rises Early Saturday

Colorado skies are in for a rare treat early Saturday as a Black Moon brings pitch-black conditions perfect for stargazing.

NASA calls this "the invisible phase," when the moon is positioned between Earth and the sun, causing its illuminated side to face away from us and making it invisible in the night sky.

The phenomenon will bring especially dark skies, making stars and the Milky Way easier to see.

This type of celestial event won't return for a couple of years, so grab a blanket and look up.

Scientists at University College Cork have validated a surprising 10-second method that's transforming how women fight signs of aging—without creams or invasive treatments.

In a study involving 674 women with deep wrinkles, sagging skin, and dark spots, researchers found that using this simple technique in front of the mirror each day led to dramatic improvements in appearance within just a few weeks.

What's more shocking? This unusual method has been shown to be up to 10 times more effective than retinol—without any of the harsh side effects like redness, irritation, or dryness.

It's fast, painless, and surprisingly easy to do at home. Thousands of women are already using it to look 10, 15, or even 20 years younger—and the results speak for themselves.

Watch the short video below to discover exactly how this method works—and why so many scientists and skincare experts are calling it the future of anti-aging.
