Katie Phang On Epstein And Trump's Terrible WeekIt has been a consequential week in American politics. I was lucky enough to have Katie Phang join us today to break it all down for us....enjoy!
Afternoon all. I’m excited to share a new interview just completed this afternoon with independent journalist and legal analyst Katie Phang. A recording and transcript are above. I asked Katie to join us so we could review this consequential week, together - the Epstein affair exploded; Trump’s panic escalated; we had more vital legal wins; he had his worst week of polling of his second term, he lost control of the House and it has become clear his power is ebbing. Katie brought her background as a prosecutor, trial lawyer and legal analyst to the discussion and offered her thoughts on the where the Epstein affair is headed, the by all-appearances-wildly-corrupt Skydance-Paramount-CBS merger and the importance for us to support and keep building out the pro-democracy information space. We also discussed the need for us to a better job explaining Trump’s betrayal of the Constitutional order to the American people, and how important the theme of “betrayal” is becoming to our emerging narrative. You can find Katie in the post-MSNBC chapter of her career on YouTube and on Substack too. This was a great conversation with a passionate and brilliant warrior for our democracy and our freedoms. I am grateful Katie took the time to be with us today.
