That moment when you’re overwhelmed because your elementary school friends show up!

Tonight, I’m headed from San Francisco to Los Angeles to continue the book tour, but I have posts in progress for you about the ongoing National Guard litigation, the incredible situation in Chicago where a federal judge ordered a CBP commander to report to her daily as that agency continues to violate her orders regarding the use of tear gas and other enforcement practices and the court of appeals issued a stay, and about DOJ disciplining and possibly firing prosecutors for telling a court the truth in a sentencing memo for a defendant who attempted a violent attack against former president Obama. The Trump administration continues to push the boundaries of the rule of law. The lower courts push back. We wait to see whether this time, the Supreme Court will draw a line, knowing that ultimately, saving this democracy will be up to us, the people. It is an extraordinary time to be living in. I hope you’ll read Giving Up Is Unforgivable and draw inspiration from it.
